BATAAN MANUFACTURING CO., INC. (BMCI) is a manufacturer, importer and distributor of hospital equipment, serving healthcare institutions around the country, with operations centrally located in Manila, Philippines.

BMCI started in 1950 as a small dental equipment manufacturer and repair shop in Tondo, owned and operated by Francisco T. Sy-Changco Sr.  The family originally hails from the province of Bataan, hence the name of the company.

After several years into the business, operations expanded by adding hospital furniture to its growing product portfolio while maintaining high quality standards.  These standards helped BMCI gain acceptance in the healthcare industry and likewise made them a pioneer in the manufacture of premium quality hospital and medical equipment in the country.

After twenty-five years of continued success in the business, BMCI was transformed into a corporation giving way to the entry of fresh, innovative and proactive ideas from young professionals who were then invited to take part in the firm's decision-making activities.
 
In the 1990s, BMCI entered into the importation and distribution business and added more products to its portfolio by building relationships with equipment manufacturers  in China, Taiwan and the USA, exclusively distributing their products in the country.
